Hey guys,
the WB/DC Panel has just ended and here is what happened.
We're only going to discuss the 1st part of the panel, the one that featured
the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Three were the highlights of the first part.
1. Zach Snyder comes out and says "Was shooting last
night and jumped on a plane this morning to get here. "It's going
amazingly well, I couldn't be happier", and then he drops a very short
trailer featuring Batman and Superman. I haven't seen it and apparently I will
never see it since it's nowhere to be found on the internet. If someone knows
where to find it please post the link down below.
2. After the audience at Hall H was shocked Zack said: "Why not bring out the cast then". Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck come out
followed by Gal Gadot. Needless to say that the crowd went nuts. The trinity
was finally presented at Comic-Con. Mind-blowing scene!
3. IF that didn't get you excited enough then they also
dropped a photo featuring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. It's a similar photo to
the one of Ben Affleck as Batman where we can't really tell what the colors of
the costume actually are but it still looks great and most importantly she
looks fantastic in the costume. Anyway her screen presence was never an issue,
the issue was her skills as an actor and that still remains a mistery.
Up until yesterday nobody had a clue that WB was going to
bring Batman v Superman to Comic Con and if we consider that we have to say
that they gave us a lot compared to what we were expecting. Are this little footage and photos enough to
win Comic-Con? I really don't know, Batman v Superman is still 2 years away, no
clue has been given as to whether Justice League is being shot back to back
with Batman v Superman and no slate has been presented for upcoming projects.
Frankly we were expecting more from them and I would have preferred to sneek a
peek at their movie slate rather than watching a very short clip with a movie
that is still 2 years away. I am afraid that WB still have no solid plans
concerning their cinematic universe and I fear that after 2016 we might have to
wait from two to three years to see Justice League come to life.
